A sustainable approach to planning considers that all modes of transport can play a role in providing mobility, with each best able to serve certain trips or travellers.

Policies and projects aimed at infl uencing travel and destination choices such as pricing, new infrastructure or services and enroute or pre-trip traveller information require models that refl ect the interaction of these choices between all travellers.

OmniTRANS provides methods to evaluate these effects and to establish equilbrium between demand and supply in a multimodal context.

It also offers an approach to modelling access to the public transport system by any mode, considering entire multimodal journeys from door-to-door.
