Flexible Project and Scenario Management

OmniTRANS clearly separates the transport supply data from the transport demand data permitting the study of any combination of supply and demand scenarios within a project. The Project Manager allows creating as many scenarios as desired and provides a comprehensive structure for clearly organising those scenarios.

Scenarios are OmniTRANS objects which can be referred to in the OmniTRANS Job Language making it possible to apply the same job script to multiple scenarios. Specifications for reports, charts and plots include reference to scenarios so that they can be shared and re-used across scenarios.

All model results are stored at the scenario level, simplifying the comparison of results. Reports, charts and plots are specifically designed to easily compare data between scenarios. Users can visualise and compare plots and charts between any combinations of scenarios and dimensions in a fully synchronised fashion for static as well as dynamic data.

OmniTRANS provides a 'super network' mode to edit networks across multiple scenarios simultaneously in one operation while travel matrices can be shared across different scenarios making cross-scenario data editing a fact.
