Who are we

Omnitrans International is a software company specialised in traffic and transport. Our company is based in Deventer in The Netherlands. We are part of the Goudappel Coffeng Holding. Currently Omnitrans International has a staff of 16 people. Our staff mostly has an academic background in informatics, mathematics, computer science and transport planning and modelling. We keep contacts with many universities and regularly publish papers at international conferences.

We produce state-of-the-art software and are involved in leading-edge research on transport modelling.

What do we do

Omnitrans International utilizes its knowledge and expertise in a wide range of consultancy projects. These projects range from software for transport planning, transport modelling, dynamic traffic management and dedicated websites to real-time software for traffic control centres. Our clients range from national governments to local authorities and from large international consultancies to small local specialists.

In addition to consultancy we develop, maintain and market the product OmniTRANS. OmniTRANS is a transport planning package. Applications with OmniTRANS range from long-term strategic planning of infrastructures and design of public transit networks to tactical planning and management of traffic light controlled junctions and variable message signs. Annually we release a new version and regularly we organise training courses. OmniTRANS is market leader in The Netherlands and sold worldwide through a network of agents.
